In recent years, the chitosan has been extensively application, China has rich resources of chitin, it is a unique advantage of Chitosan industrial development. Production costs of chitosan have been high, so this is a main factor that feazing the further develop of chitosan. By microwave-assisted method, we got the optimization of preparation. Through the modification and changing the conditions of the preparation, we got the variety of chitosan flocculant. We achieved good results by using it on clarification for apple juice and disposal for murphy-processing waste water, and the main conclusions are summarized as follows:1. preparation of chitosan flocculant by Microwave-assisted method.In this paper, chitosan flocculant was preparated by microwave-assisted method, comparing with traditional alkali preparation methods, the deacetylation was enhanced 3% and viscosity was increased 10% by microwave-assisted method. The optimal process conditions of preparation of chitosan is as follows: chitin adding the seven times 45% NaOH, according to 600W responded 7 minutes to 150W responded 13 minutes, obtain chitosan which deacetylation is 86.14%, viscosity is 135.46m. pa. s.2. Application of chitosan in apple juice clarificationChitosan clarifying agent can effectively clarified apple juice. This paper studies the dosage, temperature, time, chitosan deacetylation and the pH value on the effects of clarification. The results showed that influence of clarification of the amount of chitosan and pH value of apple juice is the largest, followed is deacetylation. The best conditions of Clarification is that deacetylation of chitosan is over 65%, dosage is 1.0g/L, 15min, 35℃, pH value is 4.5. Clarification of the apple juice by chitosan, in addition to pectin content, other major nutritional components have no change. By comparing with chitosan, diatomite, gelatin, CMCTS, the effect of clarification is as follows: Diatomite>Chitosan>CMCTS>gelatin. Chitosan clarifying agent is non-toxic, safety and Degradable, so the prospects that Chitosan used in the industrialization of apple juice production are bright.3. Application of chitosan flocculant for processing wastewater of potato starch production Wastewater of potato starch production is usually contain a lot of protein and other useful material, the direct discharge is not only serious polluted the water body, but also a waste of resources. Paper research the effects that conditions of flocculation including wastewater pH, chitosan dosage, wastewater temperature and stirring conditions. Best conditions of flocculation is that chitosan dosage is 50 mg/L, pH value is 4.5, temperature is 50℃, the initial stirring time is 10s by 80r/min, and following stirring time is 60 minutes by 30r/min. Through comparing with the flocculating performance of Sodium alginate, it proved the effect of chitosan and Sodium alginate compound is best. The scope of flocculating pH is broad, the processing efficiency is high and economical. The paper also mensurated the degree of hydrolysis of murphy-processing waste water flocculated around by chitosan. The result indicates, when chitosan adsorbs the potato protein, it adsorbed the macro-molecule weighted protein easily. The paper finally mensurate the basis of albumen powder. The crude protein content is 11.2%.
