The Study On Industrial Park's Ecological Security Evaluation Based On The Ecological Footprint Analysis

The ecological and environmental questions have become a threat toward economic development of human society in recent years. Ecological security is close to the humanity survives in the future and it has become as important as military security, economic security and political security etc. If there is no ecological security in region, there is no ecological security of the country and the world. The regional ecological security is the premise and foundation of regional sustainable development. So it is extremely important to study region ecological security. In china, the industrial park is a new focus of region economic development. It likes the bamboos after the rain, and with the upstanding economic benefits of the region, and some become the Image Projects of the region. With its rapid economic development, environmental problem has been people's concern. Therefore, based on the ecological footprint method which is more popular currently, the author proposed ecological footprint model of industrial parks, and used this to evaluate the level of ecological safety in the industrial parks, then proposed solutions associated with a view to improving the ecological security and sustainable development of the industrial park region.The paper consists of five parts. Firstly, the paper summarizes research background. The first part presents the realistic background, research purpose and the significance. The second part was the literature review of industrial parks, the ecological footprint theory and ecological security. The third part analysis the ecosystem characteristics of industrial parks and proposed the ecological security evaluation index system of the industrial parks based on the ecological footprint model of industrial parks, and proposed the management model to enhance the ecological security of industrial park. Partâ…£was case study, and countermeasures were proposed. It is a conclusion part finally. Through above-mentioned calculation and analysis, the paper got following meaningful conclusions:(1) As a new type of artificial complex ecosystem, The Industrial Park ecosystem has strong opening characteristic, it has a high capacity than the normally confined artificial ecosystems.(2) The ecological security evaluation index system of the industrial parks based on the ecological footprint model of industrial parks can effectively evaluate the ecological security of the industrial parks. (3) According to the paper, the selected region as a specific economic development zone, its per capita ecological footprint quite high, the ecological security at a slightly unsafe condition. But the industrial park has the regional advantages of related to a large area, so it has not yet demonstrated obvious ecological problems, however, the potential ecological safety problems can not be ignored. The Ecological Footprint demanding in the industrial parks is mainly manifested in the energy and construction sites. So, in the park's development process, it is should be necessary to adjust the economic development pattern from the enterprise, Park and the social dimensions, then it can use the natural resources more efficiently and achieve a harmonious development with the natural ecosystem.
