Chemiluminescnece(CL)method has the advantage of little background signal,good sensitivity,simple apparatus and manipulation, it has been applied in the determination of biological molecule widely. However,the study of liquid phase CL was limited to molecular systems and simple molecular congeries.Based upon the catalysis of gold colloids and the luminescence of CdS nanocrystals,the catalysis of gold colloids to luminol-H2O2 CL system and the liquid phase CL of CdS nanocrystals were investigated,respectively.The as-built CL systems for some biological molecules detection were also reported.The details are described as follows;1.Determination of estrogens based on the catalysis of gold nanoparticles to luminuol-H2O2 CL system.Gold nanoparticles(nano-Au)were found to enhance the chemiluminescence(CL)of the luminol-hydrogen peroxide system,and estrogens could inhibit this CL signals in alkaline solution.Based on this inhibitive phenomenon,a flow injection CL method for the determination of three natural estrogens has been established.Under the optimized conditions,the linear range for the determination of estrogens was 0.07 to 7.0μmol/L for estrone,0.04 to 10μmol/L for estradiol and 0.1 to 10μmol/L for estriol.The detection limit were 3.2 nmol/L for estrone,7.7 nmol/L for estradiol and 0.49 nmol/L for estriol with the R.S.D.2.9 %, 2.6 % and 1.8 %,respectively.This method has been used for analysis of estrogens in urine samples from pregnant women.2.Determination of three kinds of thiol compounds based on the catalysis of gold nanoparticles to luminuol-H2O2 CL system.Some thiol(R-SH)compounds,such as glutathione(GSH),L-cysteine (L-Cys)and 6-mercaptopurine(6-MP)may inhibit the CL reaction of luminol-H2O2 catalyzed by gold colloids.Based on this phenomenon,a simple,sensitive and convenient flow injection CL method was developed for the determination of GSH,L-Cys and 6-MP.Under the optimal condition,the calibration curve was linear over the range 7.0×10 -7~1.0×10-5mol/L with a detection limit of 1.1×10-8mol/L for GSH, 1.0×10-9~7.0×10-6mol/L with a detection limit of 2.9×10-10mol/L for L-Cys,4.0×10-8~7.0×10-6mol/Lwith a detection limit of 1.1×10 -9mol/L for 6-MP.The relative standard deviations(R.S.D.)were found to be 1.4 % for GSH,2.1 % for L-Cys and 1.8 % for 6-MP,respectively. This proposed method provided a novel,high effective CL method for the thiol compounds detection and it has been successfully applied for the determination GSH in human serum.3.Determination of fluoroquinolone derivatives based on the catalysis of gold nanoparticles to luminuol-H2O2 CL system.Based on the enhancement of chemiluminescence(CL)of luminol-hydrogen peroxide-gold nanoparticles system by fluoroquinolones(FQs),a novel and rapid CL method is reported for the determination of FQs derivatives.Under the optimum conditions,the CL intensity is proportional to the concentration of FQs derivative in solution. The corresponding linear regression equations are established over the range of 0.08~1.28μg/mL for norfloxacin,0.013~1.32μg/mL for ciprofloxacin,0.014~1.4μg/mL for lomefloxacin,0.029~1.46μg/mL for fleroxacin,0.02~1.0μg/mL for ofloxacin and 0.01~1.44μg/mL for levofloxacin,respectively.The limits of detection(S/N=3)are 3.2,9.5, 7.0,9.0,8.0,and 8.0 ng/mL with the relative standard deviation(n=11) 4.3,1.5,1.9,1.3,1.6 and 2.1 % for norfloxacin,ciprofloxacin, lomefloxacin,fleroxacin,ofloxacin and levofloxacin,respectively.This proposed method has been applied to detect FQs derivatives in human urine successfully.4.CdS Nanocrystals Induced Chemiluminescence and their applicationH2O2 could directly oxidize MA-capped CdS NCs and produce strong chemiluminescence(CL)emission in basic conditions.It was found that the CL of CdS NCs was sizedependent.UV-visible spectra,CL spectra, photoluminescence(PL)spectra,and transmission electron microscopy (TEM)were carried out to investigate the CL reaction mechanism. Moreover,the effects of reactant concentrations,surfactants,and some biological molecules and metal ions were carefully investigated.Some biological molecules and metal ions were observed to inhibit the CL signal of H2O2-CdS NCs system,which made it applicable for the detection of such species.
