Stepped in 21 century, world economy and science & technologydevelop rapidly, competition of global market becomes more intense andmore advanced especially for study on tool machine, at same time,modern enterprise also requires tool machine to have higherprocessability. Because processability is based mainly on kinematics anddynamics of machine tool, so the research on dynamics character ofmachine tool is very necessary.In the process of design of machine tool, first do concept designand plan argumentation, and finally do product design and designargumentation. Through the iterative design——experiment——design, the product can reach performance requirement. With marketcompetition, the process of design verification based on physicalprototype seriously restricts the period of research &development ofproduct, improvement of product quality, decreases of cost, and sharerate of market.With technical innovation, Virtual Prototype is a revolution totraditional method of products design. Based on Virtual Prototype,problems can be found underlying just during products design bysimulating the mechanical system, and be revised quickly so as to throwoff the Physical Prototype, which not only can save the cost of design andmanufacturing and reduce the cycle of products development, but alsocan elevate products' performance and enhance products' competition.The article establishes three-dimensional solid models of machinetool by using PRO/E, then sets up kinematics analyze project based onmaster model of general assembly, and makes kinematics and dynamicssimulation for transmission system; Engagement force which is based onHertz elastic contact theory is simulated; By putting Engagement forceon mesh gears, achieve the transmission of power. Simulate the forcedvibration of principal axis.Set up mathematical model of self-excitedvibration, then simulate self-excited vibration.
