Study On Nations Environment Management

the environment is the basic for the existing and development of human being. It supplies human being with eco-system and natural resources; automatically and safely absorbs most of trashes in the production and life of human being. The beautiful environment has yet function of pleasure. But since the Industrial Revolution, as the population increased, industry and commerce developed, natural resources were quickly used up, environmental problem (environment pollution and ecological destruction) has gradually raised. Up to now, environmental problem has become one of global crises faced by human being. At this background, the theory and practice of the environment management emerged. Some governments have begun to incorporate the environment into their management and are continuous strengthening environment management. Environment management has achieved notable results.China is the largest developing country with the largest population in the world. Its' economy is taking off. Its' industry and commerce are rapidly developing. Its' population continues to quickly increase. Natural resources are being fast used up. Industrial and domestic waste materials are more and more. To this day, environmental problem has become very serious. It has become a bottle-neck of china's economy and society development. Protecting and improving environment have become one of the china's urgent tasks.It has many factors that caused china's environmental problem serious. But the most chief cause is over a long period of time the style of development that one-sidedly pursued speed of economic increasing, lack of management or poor management.Based upon current research results by the forerunners and excavation of values of existing data, this paper makes a systematical investigation upon the pressure of environment management, trouble and causes in environment management in china from the point of economics and management. Based upon such an investigation, this paper puts forward further the countermeasure.This paper includes three sections (3 chapters). Section I, the brief account of environment management, summarizes briefly some of basic theories on environment, environmental problem and environment management. Based upon the summary, the paper discusses the pressure of strengthening environment management in china.Based upon section I, section II summarizes systematically and analyzes trouble and causes in environment management in china from 8 aspects: cultural circumstances, environmental legal system, the system of appraising government officials' merits, the mechanism of environmental policy decision, the system of environment management, public participation, the system of the investment, environmental policy.In section III, this paper explores Countermeasures on environment management in china, Aiming at the situation that environmental problem is very serious, the trouble and causes in environment management in china.From the point of view of economics of environmental characteristics, and the emergence of many environmental causes of the problems, In order to address environmental concerns to find effective ways to find a breakthrough. measures to improve the environment in respect of giving full play to the role of market mechanisms to interfere with the external environment for their views and the practical measures. However, as the article theoretical studies are not systematic and in-depth, environmental management measures are involved in is too broad, too sweeping measures, practical operability is not very strong.
