In this paper, we introduced the QP160 I.D. slicing machine, the working principle, the technical requirement, the specility of CNC and key skill.Mathematic of the controlled target and the executing machine are derived, basing on mechanical and digital control principle. CNC uniaxial controller is introduced to the slicing machine to obtain precise orientation, which has never been used by others in china. The transmission system, including AC servo-motor, drivers, screw rod, and gear systems, is accurately designed. The design ideology is based on high precision, high velocity, easy manipulating, and lasting reliability.In the end, The machine is actually built and used. Cutting 6' silicon in the temperature of 20~25 degree of the factory, through checking-up, The precision level approaches the best in the world. Which is TTV≤10μm for single chip, TTV≤15μm for mutable chips, and BOW≤10μm. The machine reached the expect and had the compete to the market of the world.
