Experimental Study On Treatment Of Znic Containing Electroplating Wastewater By Chlorella

This paper put the key research to the adsorption of zinc ion by chlorella powder and immobilized chlorella. The main result is as follows:We carried on single factor adsorption experiment by chlorella powder which is Pre-treated with 0.10mol/L HCl .The result indicated that the elimination rate may achieve above 98%.The chlorella has the good relevance to the Langmuir equation. The adsorption kinetics of Zn²⁺by chlorella powder was investigated. The result shows that adsorption process obeys the Lagergren second-order kinetic model.Through the TEM, FTIR analysis, we inference that -0H and -COOH had some relation with Zn²⁺ uptake. In sum, the adsorption mechanism of Zn²⁺ by chlorella was a kind of surface complex reaction.
