With absence of the resource day after day, Energy saving is one of the most important problem which mankind pay much more attention. Especially for our country, tasks is more heavy. In order to fullfill the goal of saving energy and advancing sustainable development strategy, great efforts must be paid to enhance fuel utilization, recover residual heat of flue gas and reduce environment pollution.It is a very difficult problem of dedusting and residual heat recovery because of high flue gas temperature, big amount and high adhesion of dust and periodical production in 200m~3 lime shaft kiln of Lingsteel.In the paper,on the basis of many years' experiences of study, a new kind of afterheat utilizing system was designed, It has many advantages, such as small volume and occupied area, high thermal efficiency, no leakage, less investment, long service life, wide application and convenient maintenance etc. By making a comparison between practical data and design parameters and judging whether it can reach design targets. At the same time, the design targets of energy saving, flue gas temperature reducing and the requirement of dedusting technology were reached from the practical data. From which means not only more than 6 million RMB yuan can be saved per year, but also the service life of dedusting facility and cross beam can be prolonged.
