Capsanthin is the bright red part of red peppers. For the freshness, safe and pharmacologic action, they have important study value, not only ideal natural pigment, but also wide used in pharmacy such as coloring up of troche.The paper studied the extraction process of supersonic wave and n-hexane refining on paprika red pigment from paprika. Single factor test and response surface analysis methods were applied to analyze the effects of the factors. Resin purification technology was studied in this paper, and the primary condition was determined.To study the extraction technology of red pigment from paprika, on the basis of single-factor experiments, the most proper kinds of paprika, the grain scale of paprika powder, solvent and the extraction method were chosen. The optimum condition for the extraction of paprika red pigment was determined through Box-Benhnken center-united experiment design and Response Surface Methodology. The optimum extraction condition were the ratio of solvent to material 12ml/g, extraction time 30 minutes, ultrasonic power 800 watts , extraction temperature 60℃, extraction times twice. pure capsanthin with 79.38 color value was gotten, and the extraction yield was 10.68%.Based on the different solubility of the capsanthin and capsaicin in n-hexane, The capsanthin was refined by n-hexane , analyzed by spectrophotography. Finally, pure capsanthin with 85.3 color value was gotten, and the extraction yield was 6.78%.To study the adsorption capability of capsanthin D101,AB-8,HP20,D4020,NKA-9 macroporous resin. The adsorption capability of D-101 macroporous resin is the best one in the five kinds of macroporous resin. The result is better with 95% ethanol resolution analyzed, the resolution is applicable to separate capsanthin plainly.
