Study On Distribution Of Temporal And Spatial Of Drought About Sichuan In Qing Dynasty

The distribution of temporal and spatial of drought in historical periods issue belongs to the historical physiography of the area, which is an important aspect of the historical study of Disaster Geography.In recent years, As human destruction of the ecological balance and irrational utilization of resources increase, leading to the scales of drought in Sichuan getting large as well as vulnerability of disaster-affected body and the disaster also greatly enhanced, which give rise to the academic concern. However, as the time of the drought concerned , they mainly concentrated on a short period after 1949 and about long interval periods in the history of Sichuan drought, the research are so weak.In the opinion of author, there even are no specialized study on Sichuan drought in history times , especially for the Qing Dynasty. Therefore, taking full advantage of the rich historical materials, the writer did a comprehensive research about the temporal and spatial distribution of the Qing Dynasty Sichuan drought, with multidisciplinary approach including the historical geography ,the disaster science, the statistics, diagrams, revealing the features of frequency of Sichuan drought occurred so that improve the current academic research in this regard .And I do hope that it has practical significance for today Sichuan single kind of disaster area as well as the drought center long-term forecast.The full text is composed by the preface, body, drought maps and charts .In the preface, the author gives the explanations on the reasons and values of the study,defines the relevant concepts ,reviews the research before and points out some deficiencies .In the main text, by systematically collecting and arranging the historical documents remained in archives, local annuals and collected works, the author has so far obtained the most complete Qing Dynasty Sichuan drought data, which over-number predecessors have made in both drought years and drought counties areas. Also by recovering the Qing Dynasty Sichuan drought time series , inserting the affected counties, the writer recovered Sichuan drought of the Qing Dynasty the spatial distribution, and completed a period of drought Parametric with the establishment of county-level drought grading standards for the county grading of the drought.Based on that, the writer further explored features of frequency of Sichuan drought occurred and dynamic process of spatial distribution in perspective of both time and space.From the time of the Qing Dynasty Sichuan latitude drought experienced serious drought - intermittent drought period (a period of low) - the period of drought in three stages.And finally, writer gave us the argument below:In the early twentieth century witnessed drought increasingly getting more frequent frequency. In the perspective of space latitude, the Qing Dynasty-stricken areas in Sichuan was divided into three parts: the heavy drought-stricken areas, often drought-stricken areas, the distribution pattern-arid and arid-stricken areas, particularly Chongqing House was analyzed more in-depth . In addition, from the point of view of the long period, the author has analyzed the Qing Dynasty Sichuan temporal and spatial distribution of drought, and mutually contrasted with the center long time interval concerned before analysis result, both showing a trend of consistency. In the end, discussed the influence under the Qing Dynasty Sichuan drought temporal and spatial distribution patterns of interaction factors from the drought social attributes of the latitude, and made a number of drought mitigation recommendations.
