Studies On Ecological Security Evaluation Of The Urban-Rural-Integration-Area

The Urban-Rural-Integration-Area(URIA) is the product of urbanization, and the ecological environment of URIA has been severely damaged under the influence of Suburbanization and Rural urbanization: such as the serious air quality deterioration, water pollution, noise pollution, cultivated land resources reduction, serious soil pollution, land pattern confusion, serious land resources waste etc. The ecological security of URIA which is kind of ecological fragility zones should be given much more attention.In this paper, The evaluation index system of URIA ecological security was established using the "pressure-status-reaction" conceptual model by drawing lessons from the evaluation systems used in Urban areas and the suburb, the system is from the aspect of nature, economics, and society, it could be further divided into four levels, total 22 indexes. The four levels are target level, criteria level, project level and indicator level. Then the studies calculate the result of the proportion of every index by using "AHP" method, and to standardize the indexes by using the " safe index method ", from doing that the Security index of every index can be obtained, thus the evaluation results could be got through the Comprehensive exponential method, and the result was used to evaluate the ecological security. so the ecological security of Xiema town was evaluated by using the evaluation method used in URIA. The results show that, the ecological security index is 0.4657 in Xiema town and the ecological environment was destructed and in medium warning state, moreover, the indicators including the population density, intensity of chemical fertilizer, sewage capacity, solid waste capacity, surface water quality index, soil quality index, living garbage disposal rate, the rate of sewage treatment, industrial waste treatment rate, the quality of workers are all in extraordinary unsafe condition. The ecological environment in Xiema town was mainly affected by the resoures environmental pressure, the second is the status of resoures environment, and the humanistic response is the last. From the aspect of the pressure of resources and environment, the economic pressure has greater impact on environmental security than the Pollution pressure, the population pressure is the least; as for the situation of resources and environment, the security of the environment status has greater impact on ecological security than the security of resources status; from the point of humanistic response, Scientific and technological capacity contributed greater to the ecological security than the environmental input capacity does. As well as,the driving force of the ecological environment Deterioration was studied .At last, according to the evaluation results and the actual situation in Xiema town, the measures to improve the ecological security were proposed,which is from the resoures environmental pressure and the humanistic response.
