It is a difficult problem to predict the performance of the final production exactly and to control its quality when dominating the quality of the steel in inland or overseas. Though some study fruits about performance forecast of the panel or strip steel are published in literature, the study reports about bar and wire, especially high speed line, have not reached the degree of appliance.The rolling and water-cooling process of the high-carbon wire is simulated in the discourse, and the models are modified on the existing base. The author combine the VB language and the commerce finite element software ANSYS, and design the software of calculating the change status about temperature and microstructure during rolling and water-cooling. This software contains the reverse calculation of water-cooling techniques when knowing the spot technical facility and the spin temperature, and offers the data of the nozzle placket degree. The primary attempt is done about instructing techniques by prediction software.Based on the scene condition of the secondary workshop in high-speed line of Tangshan Steel Company, the author calculates the temperature and microstructure during rolling and water-cooling. The calculation data and the spot measure data are inosculated considerably.The results of the calculation provide the foundation for the preliminary condition and the solid-state conversion during the sequential wind cooling process. The results of task affect the veracity while forecasting the solid-state conversion during the wind cooling process, so it is very important in the prediction system. If this research is combined with the research of wind cooling process, then the dissidence about the high carbon line, which is aroused by the fallacious rolling techniques in the factory, can be eliminated. At the same time, this task provides academic basic for the computer simulation of the manipulative cooling.In addition, the analytic disposal about the CCT curve is another important content of discourse. The CCT curve is the important basis instructing the factual production during heat treatment. In virtue of simulation function of the Origin, the existing CCT curves are transformed from figure to parse formula in this discourse. And then, taking the CCT curve with contiguous carbon content as limbic curve, the author workout VB program with interpolation to forecast the CCT curve of unknown carbon steel. The CCT curve of NO.60 steel is calculated by the curves of NO.45 and NO.75, and this curve is coincident very much with the factual measure curve. The curve is moved left little because of the infection of manganese content, but it can reflect the change rule of CCT curves very well already. The author explores the analytics method about CCT curve in the course. The study result of the task can remedy the lack of CCT curve quantity, and at the same time, it will accelerate the development of computer simulation about the heat treatment on-line.
