Mineral resource is an important basis resource of national economic construction, which has a very important position in national economy and social development, ecological environment problem of mining area accumulate gravely at present in our country , recovering and governing is difficult, the mining area's environmental problem already becomes the key factor which affect the area sustainable development. Mining area's environmental sustainable development system is a large complicated system which contains resource, ecology, economy and society. Its' nature requires that every key element gets coordinated growth and coordination coupling in mining area. Based on ecological environmental theory and a lot of practice experience, this paper analyzes the mining geological disasters caused by environmental pollution, ecological and other environmental problems, and then makes a conclusion on its characteristics, causes and harm performance. According to sustainable development and systems theory, analyzing From the four environmental aspect : resource, ecology, society and economy, this paper develops the mine environmental sustainable development evaluation system; evaluates the mining area of environmental sustainable development RESE model; with Hierarchy Process and gray relational analysis indicators layer weights, establish mining RESE fuzzy multi-level synthesis appraisal model; in conjunction with the model, Applying fuzzy synthesis appraisal method, evaluates the environmental sustainable level of Pingmei Four mine, its results accords with actual conditions. Based on the evaluation results, the mine is clearer on development of the mining area in future. Finally, in this paper, cleaner production, recycling and eco-industrial economy is introduced into the mining area of environmental sustainable development; discusses the feasibility of mining clean production and the establishing of eco-industrial park.
