The Research Of Form Error Measurement System Based On Virtual Instrument

The form error is an important indicator that evaluates the manufacturing quality of the machine parts, having already been concerned among people. In the small enterprises how to measure the form error has became a key problem with computer-aided measurement technique. The virtual instrument is a kind of new instrument mode that appears in 1980's, it is a instrument system gathered a mold of calculator, software technique, hardware technique, etc. the virtual instrument has been wisely used in research, development, measurement, detection, instrument field both the domestic and international. In this paper, we set up virtual instrument to measure the form error and achieve the purpose of the form error detection.In this paper, we focus on the actual situation of enterprises, describing the virtual instrument of the form error how to set up. By comparing the commonly used virtual instrument technique solution and according to the actual requirement of the business enterprise condition and to design the applied project of a virtual form error system, with comparison the virtual instrument hardware platform, designs measuring instrument hardware system based on PC; Taking the Lab View of the American NI company as the software platform, the soft front-panel of measurement system was designed. The foundation of mathematics model in the form error studied the form error of computer program, resolve the key problem that the form error process data. Form error measure system based on virtual instrument with circuit drives, stepper motor and drive mechanism as measuring components, with the data collect card and displacement sensors as hardware achieve measurement data, eventually a virtual form error instrument system was build, the straight linear error and roundness error was carried out to measure and analyze, satisfy the need of the business enterprise.The virtual form error instrument has been applied some small business enterprise. The result show that is a kind of economy, practical and simple method to resolve measures problem in the small scaled machine manufacturing, it have some practical value and make ference value.
