Liuweidihuang pills is a typical represent of Chinese medicine to be used to treat with kidney deficiency, which was first created by Qianyi Song according to《XiaoerYaozhengzhijue》. According to Zhangzhongjing's《Jinkuiyaolue》, The Court physicians of Northern Song created the Liuweidihuang pills, which is a famous medicine to treat with kidney deficiency. Many domestic manufacturers have engaged Liuweidihuang pills and related agent production, as good for health, it has been increasingly concerned and favored by vast number of consumers. This paper introduced macroporous resin and ultrafiltration two new separation technologies in its production process applications, with a view to ensure efficacy on the basis of reduced use, thereby reducing the burden on consumers, sinopharm to lay a solid foundation for the world.According to the actual situation and the need of the process, the Paeoniflorin to be the quality indicators. Utilizing the High-speed centrifugal as the Pretreatment, to study and optimize the macroporous resin and ultrafiltrate process.In macroporous resin process, first, through the static adsorption experiments to select the best HPD100 macroporous resin, and then the dynamic adsorption study, determined its saturation adsorption point and leaked point, and then cleared by alcohol to determine the eluant alcohol concentration and dosage. To study the process of adsorption, using the orthogonal experimental, three factors: drugs flow, salt effect, concentration, optimization results show that macroporous resin technology by optimizing the quality of solid was reduced to 4.6% of the original, while the paeoniflorin have 85% reserved.In ultrafiltration process, first, single factor experiment, analysized the different temperature, pressure and concentration of solution to the flux, and the orthogonal experiments in the liquid through paeoniflorin relative content, extract paeoniflorin content, impurity removal rate of ultrafiltration solution to the quality indicators relative to extract paeoniflorin rate of production quality indicators, ultrafiltration botained study optimal conditions. The results showed that under the optimal ultrafiltration conditions, the quality of the solid was reduced to 17% of the ingredients, paeoniflorin retention rate was 95%.At the end of this paper,we have a preliminary study on the macroporous resin combine the ultrafiltration, the results show that polysaccharides has been reserved as more as possible, offset the defect of which used macroporous resin only. As the use of a macroporous resin, the solid yield was reduced nearly two percentage points to the ultrafiltration. The results showed that ultrafiltration and macroporous resin can be an effective combination to enrich the paeoniflorin concentration in Liuweidihuang.
