The Study On Cost Control Of LPCC MEK Project

With the speed-up of reform and economy globalization, the internationally prevailing project management system is deeply influencing and changing project management system of China. The current Chinese construction industry management mode and management level are undergoing huge impact and test coming from internationally prevailing regulations. To reform project management under the original planning economy, and build modern project management mode which will fit modern market competition have become imperative. To improve project management method, and build effective cost control system, optimize resource allocation, rescue cost control risk, and to pursue most project profit have become the most important part in project management.The thesis takes the out-of-control cost of MEK project of LPCC as cut-in point, aiming at the cost constitution of MEK project, cost risk identifying, cost control institution, flow path, regulations, gives detailed analysis. The author has collected a large amount of documents and data of MEK project, and takes apart of the project management mechanism and summarizes MEK project reasons related to management, technical issues and system combining the out-of-control costs of MEK project. Aiming at existing problems with project cost risk control, the thesis has designed a new management organization structure, management regulations to enhance project cost risk controlBy using comparison analysis and expert evaluation, the thesis analyzes the reasons for out-of-control project cost, and finds out the sticking point of the problems, and puts forward methods for solving the problems.Through the application of the project cost management mechanism that the thesis has set up, it is expected that MEK project cost risk control will be strengthened, project out-of-control cost will be rectified fundamentally. And an effective reference for cost control of future LPCC projects is thus provided.
