The flow injection chemiluminescence (FI-CL) is becoming more and more popular owing to its simple instrument, high sensitivity, wide linear range, reproducibility, simplicity and rapidity. A FI-CL method was proposed based on the inhibition of the Luminol chemiluminescence system coupling with flow injection technique. Erythromycin ethylsuccinate and vitamin c were determined. Many antioxidants also have been analyzed.1 A simple and sensitive chemiluminescence method in combination with flow injection technique was proposed based on the inhibition of erythromycin ethylsuccinate (EES) on the redox reaction between luminol and potassium ferricyanide in alkaline medium. Under the optimum condition, the calibration curve for the analyte showed the linear relationship over the range of 0.5-125 mg/L. with the detection limit of 0.16mg/L. The proposed method was satisfactorily applied to analysis of erythromycin ethylsuccinate in the pharmaceutical preparations with the relative standard deviation of 1.8% and the average recovery of 99.3%.2 Based on the inhibition of chemiluminescence by antioxidant in alkaline aqueous solution, a new chemiluminescence method for the determination of activity of antioxidant with flow injection technique has been established. Vitamin c, dibutylhydroxytoluene, chrologenic acid, tertiary butylhydroquinone, gallic acid, vitamin E and citric acid have been determined by this method. Result : tertiary butylhydroquinone > dibutylhydroxytoluene> chrologenic acid > vitamin C >gallic acid > vitamin E> citric acid.3 A FI-CL method coupling with flow injection technique was proposed based on the suppress of vitamin c on the redox reaction between luminol and potassium permanganate . Under the optimum condition, the calibration curve for the analyte showed the linear relationship over the range of 1.0×10-4-1.0×10-5mol/L.with the detection limit of 4.0×10-6mol/L. The proposed method was satisfactorily applied to analysis of vitamin c in the beverage with the relative standard deviation of 2.0% and the average recovery of 99.5%.
