The process control system of hot strip has the character of continuum, high temperature, high speed, multi-production, and the system must meet the demand of real-time, strong stability and high control accuracy etc . The goal of this paper is to design and implement a process control computer system with good maintenance, extensibility and agility by adopting the Object-Oriented technology, which can be furthest seasoned with the scale of enterprise and the development of technology.Aiming at the process and features of Rough mill process control system, and based on the Object-Oriented software thought and methodology, By using the UML standard modeling language and visible modeling tool of Rational Rose, the paper designs the system static and dynamic model, and puts forward the projects of system structure, software framework, object permanence and the object designs based on the middleware(ICE) distributed computer system development platform, and implements the deployment of system internet applications. The design is summarized at last.The innovation of this article is focusing on the following:The technology of object-oriented and middleware ICE distributed computer system development platform is used in domestic hot rolling process control computer system for the first time. This technique has been applied successfully in hot rolling mill project of Baoshan iron & steel enterprise, and it has also obtained the item whole object–"Put into production, Achieve the designed output, Through FAT, Finish production test,and Comeout profit at the same year".
