| The shortage of water resources situation had became apparent in coal industry. The shortage of water resources had impeded the development of coal industry. In this paper we research use the coal mine drainage for circulating cooling water of the Pithead Power Plant, come to the following conclusions: Use molysite as flocculant has a good adaptability. Confirm the surface loads of the sedimentation basin in the pithead power plant. Use the reverse osmosis to ravel out the shortage of water resources.
