Garbage leachate is one kind of high concentration organic wastewater.A great deal of harm will be taken to the ecosystem if the leachate is not disposed availably.Main city zone of Chongqing has the garbage 7228 tons every day,a majority of which are disposed at two modern garbage disposed plants-Chongqing Changshengqiao Sanitary Landfill Site and Chongqing Tongxing Waste Incineration Plant.They daily produce garbage leachate more than 1000 cubic meters.In order to understand the pollutants's existence,pollution characteristics and humus's structure,characteristics in the two kinds of leachate,consequently to give some help of pollutants controlling and the humus's recycle,we study the pollutant's concentration,characteristics of filtration,distribution with microfiltration and ultrafiltration as well as HA and FA's structure,quality and distribution with general methods of humus's distill and token in the main city zone of Chongqing's two garbage leachate.After pollutant's molecular size classification and determining in garbage leachate,the results were:COD of Tongxing and Changshengqiao's(the orders below are all the same)garbage leachate(which have not be disposed,the datas were all measured in garbage leachate which have not be disposed)are:46889.72mg/L,2543.64mg/L respectively.Two garbage leachate's organic matters are mainly solutes,pH of the two garbage leachate are:5.65,8.08.They are increasing while the membranes's aperture is minishing.Total solid of the two garbage leachate are:46889.72mg/L, 2543.64mg/L respectively.Both have lots of dissolved salts.T-N of the two garbage leachate are: 1068.09mg/L,1271.16mg/L respectively,ammonia N are:991.61mg/L,1012.70mg/L respectively. So,ammonia N account for a great part of their total N respectively are 92.84 percent,79.67 percent. It shows that N in the two garbage leachate exist mainly in the form of ammonia N,and other forms of N are relatively less.The two garbage leachate' ammonia N reduce 4.73%and 27.41%after membrane of 1000 molecular weight.It shows that the removal effect of ammonia N with microfilter and ultrafilter is not obvious,so we must adopt other method to prevent high concentration ammonia N from restraining the following biochemistry processing.T-P of the two garbage leachate are: 13.01mg/L,2.88mg/L respectively.Tongxing's T-P maily exist in the solid while Changshengqiao's maily exit in the solid and colloid.The lack of T-P would affect the biological treatment.There are lots of metallic and non-metallic matters in the two garbage leatchate.Tongxing's concentration of heavy metals which exceed the permitted emission concentration are higher than Changshengqiao's relatively,and they are mainly distributed in solid and solution.The concentration of Ca are 4321.75mg/L,254.75mg/L,and K are 3180.25mg/L,1276.00mg/L in two leachate,which exist in solution.Generally,the contamination's concentration of Tongxing's garbage leachates are higher than Changshengqiao's because of the garbage leachate's "age" and source.All the pollutants in the garbage leachate are reducing with membrane filtrations,but not evidently,and they have different distributions.The results of study on humus were:the amount of Tongxing's humus is greater than Changshengqiao's,they are:26346 mg/L,2070mg/L(COD)respectively,for Tongxing has more organic matters,and the Tongxing's HA/humus ratio is lower than Changshengqiao's,which are 3.93%,40.82%respectively.HA and FA mainly exsit in colloid,whose order of aromatic condensation,putridness condensation,molecular weight is ChangshengqiaoHA>TongxingHA>ChangshengqiaoFA>TongxingFA.It shows that the structural characteristics and formation mechanism of garbage leachate's HA,FA are similar with natural's.
