Adding alloy is important in BOF steelmaking. LD converter ferroalloy model control system can select the category and calculate the quantity of the alloy to be added, so it can reduce the alloy cost maximum. It is developed by Baosteel and has been keeping ahead in this field. This paper introduces the research of the model and programming in the core arithmetic. The attempt in model improving is recommended too.1. "Linear Programming" is selected as the core arithmetic of the model and "Simple Algorithm" is used to calculate it. By improving, the calculate precision become better and probability of abnormality is reduced.2. "Fuzzy Linear Programming" is used to be the core arithmetic of the model when the contents of elements are indistinct. After many numerical simulations, the "Warp Method of Fuzzy Restriction" is selected to calculate it.3. Many numerical simulations based on the real data have been done. The results indicate that the "Fuzzy Linear Programming" can improve the control effect of the model.
