The vast majority of the Electrolytic aluminum industries' melting aluminum ingots casting has taken the continuous casting method. The 16t / h continuous casting machine is the automated production line that devote to cast the general remelting aluminum ingots. There is obvious "water ripple" phenomenon of aluminum ingots producted by the equipment,that affected the quality of the surface of aluminum ingots.In this paper, to the problem of the "water ripple" on aluminum ingots surface, start from running smoothness of the conveyer chain, using mathematical modeling and dynamic analysis way, through the analysis of the running smoothness of the conveyer chain on ingot-casting machine, find out the polygon effect of chain and the wheel's friction changing are the main factors affect the running smoothness of the conveyer chain, take some improvement way or advice for the main factors. Provide the theoretical basis for enhancing the running smoothness of the conveyer chain. This paper's study include the following aspects:(1)Consider the polygon effect and additional dynamic load, analyses the force of the tight side, identify the main factors affected the force- changing of the conveyer chain;(2)Establish the dynamic model of tight-conveyer chain, and do the dynamic analysis, seek out the critical speed of the conveyer chain system, and identify its impacting factors;(3)Analyses motor torque ripple, the impact load of stripping and printing agencies affect the running smoothness of the conveyer chain;(4)Take some improvement way or advice for the main factors that affect the running smoothness of the conveyer chain.
