| The vertical semi-continuous casting of wrought aluminum alloy is an important part of the whole aluminum processing industry chain,and the casting equipment determines the quality of the continuous casting aluminum alloy bars.Semi-continuous casting equipment mainly consists of two key parts: casting machine system and mould system.However,during production the surface quality of billet prepared by using ordinary vertical semi-continuous casting technology(DC method)is not high.Therefore,a new semi-continuous casting method with oil and air to slip has been developed for high quality aluminum alloys abroad.The casting equipment,using oil and air to slip the mould,belongs to the high grade aluminum alloy semi-continuous casting equipment,and domestic equipments have quite a few successful cases.Existing production enterprises mainly rely on imported equipment for production equipment.The equipment is very expensive,and during production the enterprises must use accessories and supplies,such as graphite ring,refractories,oil and so on,which are specified by the manufacturers.The operation and maintenance costs are very high.Aiming at these problems,based on the practice of industrial production,combining aluminum alloy casting theory and practical production experiences,through the research and improvement of the same or similar equipment at home and abroad,this project independently developed a full set of oil-air slip equipment.The object of this research is vertical semi-continuous casting aluminum alloy,comparing the quality of aluminum billets produced by ordinary casting machine and oil-air slip inner guide semi-continuous casting machine.According to the actual production needs of the enterprise,through the improvement of casting tooling design and casting process,the inner guide semi-continuous casting machine system of 25 T is designed independently,and the oil-air slip system of is studied.A complete set of oil-air slip mould system has been designed and manufactured successfully.Studying the oil-air slip mould continuous casting process with 6063 aluminum alloy as the target,confirming the parameters of the casting,the6063 aluminum alloy rod with the diameter 178 mm was successfully manufactured,which meets the actual production requirements.And the product quality reached the domestic advanced level.In this project,the surface quality,macro and micro microstructure andmechanical properties of aluminum alloy billets produced by ordinary continuous casting method and the oil-air slip mould casting process were compared and analyzed.The 25 T inner guide type hydraulic semi-continuous casting machine system has been put into actual production.The internal and surface quality of the cast aluminum alloy ingot meets the requirements of customers and even exceeds the standards that can be achieved by using imported equipment.Through the research of this project,it lays a solid foundation for the production and application of oil-air slip casting technology. |
