New solid ternary complexes of are earth ions(RE =La3+,Ce3+, Pr3+, Nd3+,Sm3+, Eu3+,Y3+,Er3+,Gd3+) with o-Phenanthroline(Phen) and Schiff base salicylaldehyde -L-Phenylalanine(KHL) and rare earth ions(RE=Sm3+,Eu3+,Y3+,Er3+,Gd3+)with o-phenanthroline(Phen) and 1-Phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoyl-5-pyrazolone(HPMBP) were synthesized in ethanol solution. The compositions of the complexes were respectively confirmed to be: RE(L)( Phen)Cl(H2O) and RE(PMBP)3Phen base on the XRD,Elemental analysis, Molar conductance,FT-IR,Raman,UV-VIS,1HNMR, MALDI-MS etc.The stability of heat was proved by the data of TG-DTA.The antibacterial activities of the complexes were evaluated by the agar-diffusion method and Minimum Inhibitory Concentration method. The antibacterial activities testing showed that all these complexes exhibited excellent antibacterial ability against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans with broad antimicrobial spectrums. Meanwhile, the complexes are durable quality. We use Invert Microscope(IM), Fluorescence microscope(FCM),Methyl Thiazolyl Tetrazolium(MTT)colorimric and flow cytometry to test the anti-tumour effect of the complexes with K562 tumor cell. The research shows that the complexes can inhibit K562 tumor cell's growth, generation and induce apoptosis. And there was significant difference compared with control group. Inhibition ratio accrescenced by dosage's increasing, and it had significant positive correlation with medication dosage. The median inhibitory dose (IC50) of RE (L)( Phen)Cl(H2O) is about 5μg·ml-1, and when the time of action is 72h, the inhibition ratio is biggest; the median inhibitory dose (IC50) of RE(PMBP)3Phen is about 7.5μg·ml-1, and when the time of action is 72h, the inhibition ratio is biggest.The actions of the rare earth complexes and CTDNA with UV-Vis spectra were researched. When the concentrations of the complexes RE (L)( Phen) Cl (H2O) are increased, the largest absorption in A260 is gradually strong; When the concentrations of the complexes RE(PMBP)3Phen are increased, the largest absorption in A260 is gradually Red shift and also strong.
