Study On The Function And Structure Of Production Automation System For MID-HEAVY Plate

Plate Mill is the main mill type in China, and the automatic project system of plate production line is a complex large system which included rolling process control, rolling line area control and process control.In this paper, the development tendency of automatic project related to plate production line in domestic and abroad was introduced, at the same time the process control theory and method about plate production line automatic project system was discussed deeply, and related model was introduced, moreover, several basic structure and its evolution process for large system was demonstrated. On the basis of above explanation, the structure model of plate production line automatic project system was put forward. At last, the automatic system structure and system coordination function of Xinyu Iron and Steel Corporation Heavy plate 3800mm production line was analyzed.At present, although much progress has made for automatic system technology of domestic plate production line, by viewing the situation as a whole, some difference exist as before compared to the same kind system in abroad. The purpose of this paper is to find some difference by comparing and contribute my share to domestic plate production line automatic system.
