| The high-speed surface removement of difficult processing materials with great rigidity,intensity and tenacity is a worldwide technical problem which has always troubled machining areas. Short electric arc processing technology for its economic,high effective, low-energy-consumed, materials saving, low noise pollution, and other technical features, is becoming a hardface material processing technology with great market potential,good development prospects, high effect and utility.For the efficient processing technique of shortelectric arc is summarized through long-term practice, its mechanism is still in the researching stage and operated by the way of the traditional turning the machine control in application. In order to meet with the needs of research and application of short arc of CNC machine tools,the development of a short arc of CNC machine tools is very necessary. As one of the core components of CNC machine tools, the research and development of motion controller is critical.This paper using high-performance SCM, CPLD and dual-port RAM,designed an ISA bus motion controller. The system of data processing, interpolation speed and accuracy is better than the general SCM motion controller, and it avoids high costs brought by the use of DSP. Motion Controller not only has completed interpolation functions with higher real-time demand, but also I/O input and output and AD converter, DA output functions. So this paper chooses Cygnal's 80C51F020 as the main controller chip.The chip has a large number of I/O interfaces, built in cross-switch, can be changed in accordance with the requirements of the various I/O port attributes,and also comes with ADC/DAC.This motion controller can use an ensemble of logic The use of CPLD chip in this motion controller can reduce the number of chips by bonding various logic circuits,simplify the motion controller circuit and reduce the interference between various chips.The paper uses dual-port RAM chip IDT7005 to complete the data buffer between PC and the crew and to eliminate the inconvenience resulted from data synchronization between PC and the crew when reading and writing.The motion controller uses ISA common interface to communicate with the host computer to complete its design and implementation. |
