Dsp And Cpld-based Motion Controller Design And Research

The trend of the numerical control technology is the open architecture numerical control system,which based on PC and motion controller. The system has strong signal-processing ability and good motion control precision. And more, it is very open for user and it improves the machining precision and flexibility. America call it a new generation industrial controller, while Japan thinks that it will bring the third Industrial Revolution and foretells that the motion controller will be used very widely like PLC.In this paper, we analyzes the importance of motion controller in industrial control and points out the developmental trend of motion control technology, and designs a new generation motion controller . The most advantage of this motion controller is that users could rewrite the controlling algorithm into it, while the common motion controller could not be rewrited. So, this motion controller is more flexible. In the project, most of the research is completed on the evaluation board which is developed by ourselves. We do the simulation by the software of MaxplusII and do the emulation on the CPLD developmental board based on EMP7128SLC100, and get the satisfied result. At last, we debug the controller on the five-axis motion controlling platform, and all the parameters are up to the mustard.
