The Study On Purification Of Ciwujia Immerse Cream By Using The Membrane Separation Technique

The technique of membrane was applied in the study of ciwujia zhusheye production craft. Membrane separation technologies were used to separate and purify ciwujia extract. It could also improve the product quantity and reduce clinical adverse reactions. The research of the ciwujia zhusheye production craft provided scientific foundation for the further research of injection production craft of other Chinese traditional medicine.This paper introduced membrane separation technique which was used to separate and purify Chinese traditional medicine extract and produce Chinese traditional medicine injection. Furthermore, how to choose suitable membrane and to recover membrane system was introduced also. The best production condition was determined by using orthogonal tests. The membrane separation technology showed better competence than traditional JingChen craft in the production cycle, producing costs, product quality. The stability of product was investigated by sample observation, accelerated testing, destructive testing and clinical observation for adverse reaction. The purification processes of Ciwujia extract using membrane technology was improved. By sample observation, accelerated testing, destructive testing and clinical observation for adverse reaction, the products using new craft showed better stability than that using the original craft. And also, the new technology shortened the production cycle of three months, reduced the stock size of 1300 square meters, and reduced the production costs of 1038 $per ten thousand bottles.The purification processes established in this paper could improve product quality and reduce clinical adverse reactions. By using the new craft, the quality of ciwujia zhusheye could meet the demand of The PRC Medical department drugs standard (18th volume) ciwujia zhusheye quality standards WS3-B-3425-98 and the PRC Pharmacopoeia (in 2005 version) on inject quality standards. The new craft characterized by easy operation, efficient, low energy consumption, suitable for large scale production, shorter production cycles, lower stock size, lower production costs and easier arrangements to improve production efficiency. The results obtained in this paper will give some ideas and suggestions for others to apply membrane separation technologies on development of other Chinese medicine injection.
