Machine Fabric Weaving Defect Control Study

The gray fabric quality is main index for the textile mill to measure technical management comprehensive level. The gray fabric quality includes the spinning defects and the weaving defects, through analyzing we know the spinning defects occupy 15%, the weaving defects occupy 85%and the weaving defects is the main defects of gray fabric. Along with fiercer competition in the market ,the customers' requirement for quality of gray fabric is increasing greatly. Decreasing the weaving defects to increase gray fabric quality has become important factor for enterprises to be success in the market competition. The weaving defects is one key index in the weaving production process. If the weaving defects of production line is unsteady, it will not only result in waste of the manpower, material resources , but also in decline of the finished product quality.Firstly, this paper introduces the categories of the weaving defects , causing main reasons of weaving defects , the influence on fabric of five big organizations producing ,the optimization of the process parameters, the normal methods and standards of examining the quality. Secondly, in accordance with examining items of weaving workshop quality indexes and analyzing weaving workshop present conditions of march of the year 2002, this paper finds out the main weaving defects that affect quality index :felter , looped weft, rough selvedge , weft bar. The paper conducts prime studies on board loom, methods lowering the weaving defects as following:1. from technology:to solve three jump problems ,we can adopt double steps dish (harness cam)opening outfit, adding the palm tree frame slippery way device in the loom and promote the movement stability of longitude yarn;setting twist in high temperature to reduce looped weft;Adding brush outfit in magazine foot and open slot in the thrash plate(K15) to reduce defective edge.2. from management Establishing perfect management system such as equipment and process management and operation management system and so on.3. Prevention and remedy measures of reducing weaving defects: management system of altering variety;in period of factory break and holidays, resolving for the problem of 'white-skin' of cotton and polyester high density down fabric or poplion fabric.4. Requirements of the gray fabric quality to greige yarn quality.Moreover the paper studies reasons of machinery-stop and weaving defects of air-jet loom ,and puts forward prevention measures.Anyway, during the long period in the future , the loom weaving is still main equipment to produce a lot of products, all kinds of weaving machine will coexist . Generalizing valid measures of declining weaving defects of my company ,so that more enterprises and technical personnels gain use for reference from them, little walk curved road, increase quality and technology management level of enterprises.
