The advanced technology of mechanical manufacturing is important to country economy. The rapidly development of modern technology ,especially the electronics,computer,modern micro-control technology has brought deeply revolution for mechanical manufacturing. This study subject just take measures from this aspect.The traditional operation of processing for tap hole includes two processes: at first drill a bottom hole which is less than the tap hole. Then process the thread of the tap hole with the screw tap. This study subject wants to use the modern numeric control, computer technology and theory of control to design one kind of control device which could be used in alteration for numerical control machine. This control device bonded with a new-style combination cutting tool will accomplish two processes of processing for tap hole in one process, so it will improve the production efficiency in a great extent.The main tasks of this paper are list as following:1) Propose the design scheme of the closed loop control system of screwed hole once shaping. The given signal is offered by rotational speed of cutting tool and feedback signal is offered by rotational speed of ball screw. According to these two signals and the modified arithmetic of PID work out the output signal to control the stepper motor, and the response performance will be improved.2)Build the model for the whole mechanical drive system and design the digital controller based on arithmetic of PID. Work out the controller parameters through the means of direct design in practical application and it is hard gain these parameters through the traditional method.3)Choose the micro-processor and peripheral device. According to control task and control arithmetic allocate the I/O ports. The design processes of hardware and software will carry through at the same time, and these two processes will develop in a complementary way.4)Design jitter removing electric circuit.5)Do some simulating and experiments to make sure the circuit is correct and will be execute as normal.
