Research On Foam Mold Design Of Complex Engineering-truck Boxes

Compared to traditional foundry progress, LFC(Lost Foam Casting) has its unique advantage, and is called'21century's foundry'and'Green Revolution'.The LFC progress has been successfully applied in the manufacture of complex engineering-truck box. At present, the foam-mold's design almost bases on the manual or simple mold machine inland. This status leads to the lower lever of the foam-manufacture effciency and quality, by the way, it makes a company difficult to improve its competitive ability. So, how to realize the automatic manufacture of the foam pattern is the urgent affairs to the engineering truck maker.In this thesis, the molds of several Longgong-engineering-truck transmission boxes(including the boxes of 853 loader,ZL30 loader and LG330 forklift truck) are designed, and the molds are assembled to TEUBERT automatic mold machines. At the same time, the feasible casting schemes are proposed.According to the experience, the principles of the foam mold designassembled to the automatic mold machine are proposed. The referenced rules make the foam mold design easier, and bing the further development of LFC inland.
