This thesis analyzes present status of technology in regard to PET,flame-retarded and cation polyester ,and points out that the dyeing for flame-regarded polyester can only be realized under high temperature and pressure due to arrary regularity of big molecular chain of polyester, structure compactness of polyester ,and difficulty in dyeing in the course of dyeing for PET staple fiber at present.However,the fire retardant function group of phosphorus family linked to big molecular chain is prone to break under high temperature and pressure,which reduces flame-retarded effect of flame-retarded polyester.This is a main reason to hamper the development of falme-retarded polyester.This thesis proposes that the flame-retarded cationic composite function staple fiber is to be developed through linkage between fire retardant functional group of phosphorus family and big molecular chain,and introduction of m-phthalic acid diethylene glycol ester with meta-position at same time. This type of fiber can accomplish deep dyeing under nomal pressure.In the meantime,flame-retarded performance won't be influenced either.Through small test and research,the following issues were explored such as type of cationic improver,feedstock recipe,melt rheological performance,distribution technology for improver,feeding position for improver,adding time for improver,adding process of improver,technology regarding solubility of both SIPE and BHET monomer,polymerization features of flame-retarded cation polyester.On the basis of small test,commercial production was carried out in 4000 t/y and 2000 t/y intermitten polymerization and spinning plant respectively and the 1.56dtex flame-retarded PET staple fiber was produced.The developed product can implement deep dyeing under normal pressure based on test.The dyed clothing carries out test according to national standard(limit oxygen index is more than 30%).This item resolved the difficulty in dyeing for flame-retarded polyester and expanded application field.The flame-retarded textile can be produced by means of co-spinning with vinyl chloride acrylonitrile copolymer.The technical level is in the leading position nationwide.
