The increasingly serious global ecological crisis has made humanity into an unprecedentedly difficult situation since the 1960s. Ecological crisis has been threatening human's existing and development more and more seriously. Industrial civilization has caused human into a predicament difficult to extricate. Ecological crisis is the significant feature of the overall crisis in industrial civilization. How to get rid of the ecological crisis brought by industrial civilization has become an unavoidable real problem for modern society. All governments and community people start to explore and find ways and methods to solve this problem actively. Therefore, the research on civilization development has become a hot issue in philosophical field. Especially in the past 10 years, scholars launched a comprehensive study on the clash and integration, transcendence and reconstruction in civilization. In fact, the time for the decline of industrial civilization is the time for the rise of ecological civilization. Ecological civilization with its new content promotes social progress and reform in all aspects and promotes the harmony between man and nature and between man and man. Ecological civilization has become the dominant force for society to develop harmoniously, which has received widespread attention from whole society. Especially in China, ecological civilization has become the mainstream of civilization elements and the main driving force to build a socialist harmonious society and it is a new developmental model of civilization people has chosen after they make a profound reflection on serious ecological crisis and the traditional development model of civilization in the new era. General Secretary Hu Jintao proposed "building an ecological civilization" in the report of the 17th national conference. This is the first time for our party to write the idea of "ecological civilization" into party's program of action. Ecological civilization profoundly reveals interest relations and moral evaluation between man and man, people and society, and people and nature just in such a magnificent view across time and space. Therefore, the research on the ecological civilization will have extremely important theoretical and practical significance in solving the increasingly serious ecological crisis people are facing.This article takes the relationship between man and nature as the main line, Marxist nature concept as the axis. Firstly, this article elaborates the relation between civilization and nature, retrospects the development of human civilization and analyzes the original civilization, agricultural civilization, and the shortcomings of industrial civilization deeply. It also explores theoretically the definition, content, features and significance of ecological civilization which is the future shape of human civilization. On the basis of that, this article focuses on the philosophy details that comprise ecological civilization: it interprets profoundly the details of Marxist philosophy of the ecological civilization from a philosophical ontology, dialectics, epistemology and historical perspectives; then, it gives some insight into the traditional ecological ethic thinking from the ancient Chinese Confucianism and Taoism, and analyzes the modern value for the construction of the ecological civilization; at the same time, it conducts an in-depth study and reflection on the ecology thinking in Western Marxist natural concept, such as the Frankfurt School, "Ecology of Marxism" which provides a useful reference for the construction of ecological civilization. Finally, this article conducts a series of study on how to construct ecological civilization and the significance of the construction of ecological civilization from the economic, cultural, legal and technological perspectives.
