The national background of new fuel-CWM(Coal Water Mixture) industry application foreground and the development trend in our country and overseas was introduced, and the significant of developing the technology of CWM nowadays in our country was pointed out. On the basis of market investigation and the classical technicls of CWM's preparation, the traditional CWM mixer have deficiencies in dead corner where the CWM cannot be mixed efficiently, difficult to control and others, it cannot provide micro-mixing, then we bring for- ward the shear-technology to solve those problems, and to reduce the total cost.Following, we use basal hydromechanical equation and theorem to gain the distribution of liquid flow-field at the rotor and stator in the shear pump in detail, and build the velocity, pressure, wall shear stress dynamic model. Then, we use hydromechanics commericial software-FLUENT to simulate the flow-field in a pair of rotor and stator with 3 and 2 dimensional packaging with RNGk ?εmodel and M- ixture model, the velocity-field, pressure field, wall shear stress field and the volume fraction of second phase were discussed. The result shows that the effect of shear technology is much better than the traditional mixing model, it can provide micro-mixing, and it also demonstr- ates the flow state in the rotor and stator that cannot be seen through experiment. It provide basis for the further research of shear strengthened pump. The relationship between the mainly operating parameters and CWM's fluidity, stability in the process of industry production was investigated by using the shear technology through test, and it also save the cost through reducing the amount of addictives and enhancing the CWM's stability as a result of shear technology, then we get the conclusion from the exper- iment that the CWM have low viscosity, good fluidity and stability when the rotator speed is at 1200rpm,and at the shear time of 40 seconds in the condition of at the additive ratio of about 0.3%,in addition,we save the total cost to big extent in CWM's preparation. It provides scientific basis for the industrial production.
