Caries was considered to have multiple risk factors and was spreaded all over the world. China was influenced serious by endemic fluorosis. About 1226 counties and more than 200000000 peoples were intimidated by endemic fluorosis. Fluorine was disaster instead of good fortune for whose living in the high-fluorine district. So study of IgY application in toothpaste instead of fluorine toothpaste was an importance task of toothpaste industry.This study was researched the application of IgY in toothpaste by study basic formulation and stabilize process of IgY toothpaste manufacture. And discussed about the application of IgY in toothpaste. We can get good stability from two steps of dry method after studied basic formulation and process of toothpaste manufacture and tested by destructive test. IgY experiment could selected both of calcium carbonate formulation and silica formulation.Study anti-caries effect of IgY. Comparative stability of IgY in toothpaste from IgY microcapsule and IgY powder. Test the acute toxicity of IgY. Test cleanup result of dental plasue and test inhibitory action of streptoccus mutans by clinical test. Activity of IgY from IgY microcapsule toothpaste about 69% for one year under normal temperature and about 59% for 8 weeks under 45℃.But no activity of IgY from IgY power toothpaste. Result of acute toxicity was LD50>5.00g/kg. Clearance of dental plasue from test group was distinctness increase for a long time comparative with compare group after brushed with corresponding toothpaste. Count of streptoccus mutans and percentage of total anaerobia of streptoccus mutans were resulted with downtrend from test group. Count of streptoccus mutans and percentage of total anaerobia of streptoccus mutans were resulted in low level and significant difference to base line after continuation using for 7 days. So,microcapsule of IgY could keeped activity of IgY for a long time. Appraise of IgY was achieved innocuity. Tooothpaste include of 20ppm IgY microcapsule haved the effect of anti-caries.Test in machine of Dinex H85 by adjusted of production process to avoid destroy of IgY during production process. Protect actions including mixed under vacuum without homogenizer and discharge with discharge pump instead of homogenizer. Result was new process did not crushed IgY microcapsule. So process of IgY microcapsule toothpaste could used as normal production.IgY microapsule may be employed as importance materials of anti-caries toothpaste and some advise should be gived for manufacture of IgY toothpaste according to the results of my study.
