This paper studied on chlorinated polyethylene(CM) and ethylene propylene diene monomer(EPDM) blends system, and mainly researched on the blends' compatibility, the co-crosslink and the blending process. And then environmental addition agent systems were tested. This research supplied basic theory for the production development. Firstly, designed on experiments to fix on the ration of CM/EPDM, and added different compatilizers to enhance the blends' compatibility. Secondly, in order to test the blends'co-crosslink varieties of experiments were designed by means of RCAD. Thirdly, in the experiments the process technology parameters were changed to improve the blends' dispersing; At last unleaded stabilizer, non-toxic plasticizer, no-smell vulcanization were tested in the CM/EPDM blends system and then successfully produce the home-used wire jacket. The experiments' results as follows:(l)Plasticizer could improve the blends' compatibility and reinforce the blends' caking capacity. If 3~8 phr CPE(C1%=12%) were added to the CM/EPDM blends, with the SEM observed that the blends' interracial getting dimness. This phenomena showed that CPE(C1%=12%) could strengthen the compatibility of the CM and EPDM. Under the 220℃high temperature MAH were grafted to the blends. Control the content of MAH(1.5~1.9)/DCP(0.25~0.35) could enhance the blends' compatibility.(2)The key problem of blends is the co-crosslink problem. This paper tested there vulcanizing system to get the right content of vulcanizator.①By means of regress method designed the formulas of DCP/CAMV system and the result was that adding DCP(2.0~3.0 phr)/CAMV(3.5~5.0phr) could get the measurable crosslink degree.②By means of equality method with 2 genes 71evels designed the formula of TDD/NC system. This formula can enhance the efficiency of sulfuring. (3)By means of equality method with 3 genes 8 levels designed the formulas of Na-22/S/TMTD systems and the result was that adding TMTD(0.3 ~0.5phr) could decrease the system's Tc90 and increase the tensile strength.(3)The process and technology parameter could effect the blends properties deeply. The right feeder order and parameter can effect CM/EPDM system's dispersion. The results was as follows: first blending CM with EPDM then feeding other fillers could enhance the dispersion; fixing on the temperature(60°C) and rotate speed(60n/min) could enhance the dispersion.(4)Using the method of procure could balance the speed of sulfur in CM and EPDM, and enhance the efficiency of co-crosslink.(5)In order to get the environmental formula several formulas were designed:①The unleaded stability calcium stearate, Zinc-Calcium rosinate were chosen .②The non-toxic plasticizer ESO and TOTM were chosen to replace DOP.③The non-flame flame retardants zinc borate,Sb2O3 were chosen to enhance oxygen index.(6)On the basic theory research of CM/EPDM blends system the formula of environmental home-used wire jacket had been formed. The properties of this formula had got the GB standard and also got through RoHS standard by means of SGS detection.
