This paper presents compatibility, processability, co-crosslink system, and reinforcement system in chlorinated polyethylene (CM) and nitrile rubber (NBR) blends. In principle, we have developed steel wire knitting rubber tube and the brake rubber tube with the barometric pressure used in automobile. The results in the research are indicated as follows:(1) CM and NBR blends have good macroscopic and microscopic compatibility. The phase morphology of blends represents the co-continuous structure.(2) Peroxide vulcanizing system can co-vulcanize CM and NBR blends. The best amount of DCP and the TAIC inducted by RCAD ranges from 2.5 to 3.5 and 3.4~4.2 respectively. In sequence, I have studied the influence of assistance crosslinking agent S, PDM, TCY and Zn(MMA)2 on DCP the co-vulcanize CM/NBR. I discovered that the composition exhibits a well performance when the amounts of S, PDM, TCY and the Zn(MMA)2 used respectively are 0.8, 2.5, 2.0, 24 phr.(3) The influence of different trademark of carbon black and the amount used in the CM/NBR blending were investigated The results indicated that the trademark of carbon black and the amount used in the CM/NBR blends influence the blending rubber's dynamic properties, processability, the curing characteristic and the mechanical properties. Overall evaluation carbon black N550 is the best trademark, the amount of carbon black used is 60 phr.(4) The influences of resin CRA-138M, 7530E, S-105 on the CM/NBR blending rubber were studied. The research represented that the three resins can reduce the blending rubber's moony viscosity, enhance the blending rubber the mechanical properties. The properties of blends perform well when the dosages of three kind of resins are 6~8, 8~10, 5~7 phr, respectively. (5) Calcium carbonate, kaolin, montmorillonite influence on CM/NBR blending rubber was studied. The result indicated that the three fillers made the blends' Payne effect to strengthen in turn.The dosages of fillers used have certain influence to material's mechanical properties. And the physical mechanical property of CM/NBR blends filled by kaolin performs excellent.(6)The parameters of process and technology could affect the properties of blends deeply. The right feeder order and parameter can effect CM/NBR system's dispersion. The results were showed as follows: first blending CM feeding other fillers and then put NBR in can enhance the dispersion. Fixing on the 60℃and rotate 60n/min could enhance the dispersion.(7)The rheological characteristic of pure CM and NBR investigated at the different temperature exibits the shear viscosity of CM is sensitively influenced by shear rate and temperature. In addition, the apparent viscosity of composites decreases at the same shear rate, along with the elevation of temperature, the surface of blends looks smooth. At the same temperature, the surface of blends becomes more granulation along with the shear rate increasing.(8) On the basic theory research of CM/NBR blends system, the formula of steel wire knitting rubber tube and the brake rubber tube with the barometric pressure used in automobile have been formed. The properties of the formula have fulfilled the GB standards.
