The Ecological Security Assessment Of Industry And Cases Study

Industry, in the meantime of its dramatic development, also brings threatens to the ecological environment as well as to the natural resources. Ecological deterioration causes alarm in our country. The pollution and the drain on resource caused by modern industry have been the two targets of environmental management. What's more, the influences of industry on ecological environment has upgraded to ecological security. Ecological security research is an analysis and evaluation study of natural and semi-natural ecological systems in terms of how human dispose natural resource and how they recognize the living conditions in order to make sure that our living conditions is in a state of health and sustainable development. So running ESA under industry background is in consistent with the concept of sustainable development and will be a key step in realizing the circular economy. It has played a very important role to keep the environment healthy and the industry sustainable.We first proposed the concept of industry ecological security. Based on the systematic analysis of the industry pollution in China, we have structured the evaluation indices system of ecological security of industry by applying the pressure-state-response model (PSR) in terms of the pressure, state and response of industry. After defining the IESV (Industry Ecology Security Value), we put forward countermeasure which combined the entropy law and synthetic index method, and divided the industry ecology security level into five grades, which were ideal safe, relatively safe, critically safe, not safe and the worse safe.We evaluated two cases both from longitudinal and horizontal. The IESV of Dalian from 2002 to 2007 were 0.62263,0.65812,0.65608,0.70023,0.75787 and 0.76686. It was illustrated that the industry of Dalian were in relatively safe condition, and the security value was increased, which showed Dalian has the capacity for sustainable development. Then through the assessment of five cites, we got four cites were in relatively safe condition. We used the method of fuzzy synthetic evaluation to make sure our research has been scientific and superior. The study on IESA is a technical support to the future research for the ESA and to the judgment of the level of sustainable development.
