With the rapid development of communication networks in recent years, wireless monitoring system based on the GPRS becomes the most widespread application in the current long-distance wireless monitoring fields. The appearance of the wireless monitoring system based on GPRS networks overcomes the limitation of the systems based on other traditional communication networks. Aiming at the requirements of electric system management automation and network, this thesis describes a system which builds up a wireless and real-time Oil-extractor supervisory control system depending on GPRS network of China Mobile Communications Corporation.To ensure the reliability of the oil-extractor, we developed an intelligent oil-extractor controller based on MCU. The core of the controller is C8051 MCU, and the sensing devices are current transformers, through detecting the working voltage and the three-phase current of the driving motor again and again to detect the status of the oil-extractor, and it can also automatically cut off the power to protect the oil-extractor when it has fault. For future fault diagnosis and troubleshooting, the controller can also preserve working voltage and the three-phase current when the Oil-extractor has fault.By date decentralized collecting, and GPRS communicating, the central computer finally receives these treatment and controlling signals, all of them form the oilfield remote detection system, and realize the real-time measurement, long-distance transmission and centralized processing of the various parameters of Oil-extractor equipment. This paper gives a detail introduction about the configuration of the remote monitoring system based on GPRS, the realization of the monitoring center computer system, the working principle of the remote control terminal, and the judgment for the Oil-extractor status given by calculating electrical parameters.
