Along with the development of economy and the progress of technology, the domestic and foreign market have more and more high requirements on the shape quality and mechanical property of the rolled strip, so that the most urgent task of the strip rolling manufacturer will be how to make the further process to improve the shape quality and mechanical property of the rolled strip.One of the most import way to improve the shape quality and mechanical property of rolled strip is using the skin pass mill to roll the strip again at low elongation rate.Our company has ever do part of the manufacturing for skin pass mill during the cooperation with foreign company, but does not own the technology of skin pass mill and experience of designing. So our company didn't have the chance to get the designing order for skin pass mill just because of the lacking of technology.In order to match the requirement of our company and to improve the shape quality of the hot rolled strip, the research and design on skin pass mill was done.The purchase of this research is to make sure that our company has the ability to design skin pass mill independently.The following works will be done in the course of the this research:(1) research and find a suitable way to calculate the technical data of skin pass mill.(2) To establish the finite element model of the key parts, and to analyze the intensity, rigidity and deformation.(3) analyze and optimize the components and structure of the skin pass mill, and finish the basic design.
