Temper strip steel rolling is the final product and a very important process to ensurethe quality, and the elongation is the only mechanical properties of the rolling mill processcontrol strip, It’s value is based on the organizational structure of steel characteristics andend uses given, the size and the uniformity of elongation direct affect the quality andprocessing performance of the flat strip. Through constant practice and improvement inpractice, single stand mill smooth process and product quality have reached relatively highlevel. However, elongation is still some lack of control, which restricts the normalproduction and the economic technical indicators of progress. According to the controltheory of elongation, analysis the relationship between the elongation and thickness, andmake full use of the advantages of intelligent control in the formation field, and analysisthe research results in-depth, then it have achieved the results which was expected. In thispaper, the mainly work for temper rolling and the elongation control of temper strip, as thefollowing:First of all, this paper make a detailed description of the project works which in theactual formation of mill 900mm basics, process and control, and calculate the values ofminimum elongation in the different shape waves of the incoming, and analysis clearly ofthe structures and control characteristics of the elongation control system, then derive amathematical model of elongation which is based on the rolling deformation andmovement mechanics theory, and constructed the dynamic structure of elongation modelof roller seam-type regulator and tension type adjust elongation.Secondly, as the complexity of the metal rolling process and interfering factors, andconsider of different thickness and other unpredictable factors of the coming materials,under the two establishment dynamic structural models of elongation control, we makeuse of the conventional PID and adaptive fuzzy PID respectively study on elongation of asimulation, and compare the simulation results, fully reflected the superiority of adaptivefuzzy PID.Finally, the model parameters are not the only one of the elongation control, this paper propose the new parallel algorithm of CMAC and PID, and analysis the base controlof structural model and the specific steps, then apply it to the dynamic structure model ofthe roll seam and rate regulating adjust elongation, The results shows the control systemhas the following performance and faster response speed, and provide a new way toeffectively solve the integrated control elongation.
