As public areas, because of its large fire load, personnel-intensive, and flow of people,the safety of the Larege-scale Commercial Area(LCA) is closely related to deaths and injuries of people and the serious loss of the property. Carring out the the fire risk assessment of the LCA is not only the needs of the customers and business staff to understand the risk around themselves, but also the needs of the government to supervise effectively and overall safety plan.Based on the survey and study, meeting the requirements of the risk assessment of the LCA, the thesis studies on the fire risk assessment model of the LCA which is on the business stage.It proposes the model and establishes the multi-level structure index system.As main works,the thesis studies on the Fuzzy-Gray comprehensive assessment approach which is based on the safety-relativity theory.It quantitatives the index of the assessment system by improving the Fuzzy-Gray-Correlation Theory . The fire risk assessment model of the LCA which is based on the Fuzzy-Gray Theory.It proposes the model and establishes the multi-level structure index system.The basic rules of smoke flow that the LCA is on fire and the emergency evacuation theorys and methods were studied.Finally, the model and methods presented in the thesis have been applied to Taiyuan Commercial Area.The results provide a reference basis for the reasonable safety plan,taking targeted safety regulatory and safety measures.The applying results show that the Fuzzy-Gray comprehensive assessment method has good practicality in the fire risk assessment of the LCA.
