Research On Knitting Characteristics Of Compact Spinning High Count Cotton Yarn On Warp-knitting Machine

This thesis mainly studies the knitting characteristics of compact-spinning high count cotton yarn on the warp-knitting machine, it analyze the factors that influence the fracture strength and hairiness during the knitting process, and conclude the detailed knitting technology of the compact spinning high count cotton yarn on high performance tricot machine.The paper firstly introduces the application of cotton yarn on warp knitting, and then the research state of the knitting characteristics of compact-spinning high count cotton yarn on the warp-knitting machine is related, it also points out the contents and significance of this thesis. Secondly, this thesis chooses 70S compact-spinning cotton yarn as an example, the statistic fracture strength and hairiness were tested, the experiment about the dynamic strength of the cotton yarn is also carried out, and the linear relationship between statistic strength and dynamic strength is demonstrated. It later gives out the conclusion that both the fracture strength and hairiness meet with the requirement of warp knitting according to the test and theoretical calculation. Subsequently, the paper analyzes the force acting on cotton yarn when pass through yarn guide elements, find out what affect the resistance that the yarn affords, the result is: flexural resistance has direct ratio with friction factor, contact arc, original tension and flexural rigidity the yarn itself owned. The fracture strength and hairiness of the yarn when pass through separate bar, guide bar, and after loop forming is tested, and the influence of the machine speed and lapping length to yarn destruction is studied. The regression analyses is done to set up the relationship between the yarn destruction and these factors, and the priority is indicated. Finally, the thesis introduces the way to produce warp knitting cotton fabric efficiently, it analyses the function of the tension rail, hairiness diminution, machine speed adjusting, as well as calculation of yarn let-off, summarizes an technological route for application of compact cotton yarn on warp knitting in details.From this research, it is expected to provide theoretical and practical production technology to the application of cotton yarn in warp knitting, impulse the development of top grade warp knitting cotton fabric used in casual wear, open up the extensive category of warp knitting fabric.
