With the development of the textile science and technology and the promotion of people's consuming level, there are more abundant textiles and clothing. As a result, fabrics are needed to have more properties, not only the warmth, comfort and healthy, but also beautiful appearance. The creases have great influence to the appearance of the fabrics. What's more, the creases will cause severe abrasion in its direction and as a result the fabrics will be damaged rapidly. So the crease recovery is a one of the most key standard to test the fabrics'properties. However, some problems exist in appraising property of crease recovery at present, which ignore the one of the most important properties of the fabric-the anisotropic, concentrating the most research of the crease recovery in the finishing process. Due to the little research of the physical properties, this thesis will discuss the research of improvement of fabrics'anisotropic and the appraising methods as well as the relation between the crease recovery angle and the physical properties of fabrics.In this thesis, the crease recovery angles in different direction are tested by the SDL-M003A crease recovery angles tester according to AATCC66-2003. And then it uses extremum average to get improved calculating method of crease recovery angle. The results calculated and tested of the crease recovery angle are similar. So the improved calculating method has more applying value.And then, the relationship between the crease recovery angle and the structure parameters of the fabric is analyzed. Seven structure parameters, such as the line density of the yarn, the density of the yarn as well as the factor of the weave structure are separated from the variety of parameters and two models are deducted based on them using linear regression analysis. The experiments were carried to evaluate the validity of the two models and the test result proves that the model 1 is more reliable. The maximum D-value of the crease recovery angle between the forecasting data and the real one is only 2.46 degree, which proved that the model 1 can be used to forecast the crease recovery angle.At last, the relation between the physical parameters and the crease recvery of fabric is analyzed. The physical parameters such as bending rigidity, bending hysteresis moment, tension work and thickness of fabric are evaluated by the KESF handle tester, while the the crease recovery angle is obtained by SDL-M003A crease recovery angles tester according to AATCC66-2003. The linear regression analysis is carried to find relation between the fabric's crease recovery angle and the physical parameters, and a formula is aquired after that process, which indicates that the fabric's crease recovery angle has the close relation withBJ,2HBJ,WTJ,Bw,2HBw,WTw,Tm .
