The Research On Ring Rolling CAD/CAPP And Quotation System

Ring rolling is a plastic forming technology,in which the diameter of the ring increases as the ring cross-section decreases. Comparied with traditional technology,it has many characteristics such as saving forming force and Production cost, increasing utilization ratio of energay and material,rising productivity ,widening porcessing range of ring product etc.Forming ring rolling Processing technic comes down to many Problems, including calculating and setting Process Parameters.The traditional method of establishing the forming ring rolling Processing technic has much unavoidabled defect;such as inefficieney and high cost in Processing technic design.Facing the product quote,the experience quotation method too dependent on the person to popularize. At persent ,the Computer-Aided Process Planning System didn't combine the product quote..In this thesis, a set of system for designing forming ring rolling processing technic and product quote is exploited in Visual Basic,which can solve the problem.The thesis puts forward a fuzzy-similarity-comparison method complemented by exponential-smoothingng-method. The thesis builds the original feature set,fuzzy memberships and weights,which provide basic principle and method to resolve the practical problem.The secondary development of Pro/E based on Automation Gateway,combined with VisualBaic.The system includes process design of ring with rectangke cross-section,inner side step cross-section, outer side step cross-section. Porcess design of ring mainly contain of forging part design, roughcast design, process parameter design,mold design and product quote.The style of the system is unify and the manipulation is easy. It can connect to Pro/E and Excel, build the cad drawing ,model and quotation automatically.With the help of the system, the ring rolling process design and quote cycle is cut down consumedly.
