Abrasive belt grinding technology is one of the most important machining methods, which including grinding, lapping and polishing multiple processing is called "cold grinding". It can accesses to the good work piece surface quality.Using abrasive belt to grind titanium plate has the advantage of high efficiency, low cost and improves the surface quality and surface stress state. However, the titanium plate varies warping, in the grinding process, the grinding head can not be floated with surface condition in order to maintain constant pressure between contact wheel and work piece. So, it is difficult to guarantee the depth size accuracy in grinding process.This paper takes the principle and engineering application of the abrasive belt grinding machine grinds titanium alloy plane as background, according to titanium plates grinding appears problems. Analyze the relevant research in the field of the status quo at home and abroad, make full use of existing adaptive control technology research results, study the adaptive control technology in abrasive belt grinding titanium plate parabolic surface. Main research content is as follows:â‘ By analyzing to grind the titanium plate existing problems, self-adaptive control technology be introduced to the plate abrasive belt grinding machine control system to ensure that between the contact wheel and the work piece the constant grinding pressure in order to removal the same depth titanium plate..â‘¡According to the plane abrasive belt grinding machine working principle, study and establish control object model, and it is simplified.â‘¢Research the pole placement self-adaptive controller design methods, and the model parameter identification methods. And the algorithm is applied to the control plane abrasive belt grinding machine to solve the grinding head can float with surface in grinding titanium plate process to guarantee constant pressure grinding and the high accuracy.â‘£subject to the test conditions reasons, the proposed use of off-line measurement and parameter identification, on-line control method, the type of grinding experiments certificate the adaptive control algorithm test results.
