Study On The Issue Of The Construction Of Rural Ecological Civilization In China

The major historic task of building a new socialist countryside and the general requirements of "production development,well-off life,civilized rural environment, clean and tidy village,management of democracy" were proposed during the Fifth Plenary Sessions of 16^th Central Committee of the Communist Party,and the requirement of "clean and tidy village" has put up the issue of the construction of rural ecological civilization in China.In the seventeenth report,the General Secretary Hu Jintao reckoned "building ecological civilization" as a new requirement of achieving the goal of building a well-off society in China.To achieve ecological civilization in rural areas is the need to build a harmonious society,also it's an important part of building a new socialist countryside.The current situation of the rural ecological environment in China is not optimistic,we need to accelerate the construction pace of the rural ecological civilization in order to build a new socialist countryside;achieve the goal of the comprehensive,coordinated and sustainable development of economy, society and environment;achieve the goal of harmonious development of material civilization,spiritual civilization,political civilization and ecological civilization in rural areas.The article give a brief analysis and research on the issue of the ecological civilization in rural areas from four parts.Firstly,it summarized the rural ecological civilization from its meaning,character and the need of building it.Secondly,it introduced the theoretical basis for building rural ecological civilization:Marxist ideology and its inheritance and development in our country,such as sustainable development strategy and the scientific concept of development.Thirdly,the problems of building ecological civilization in rural areas and their causes were discussed. Nowadays,unreasonable use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers,the serious pollution of rural enterprises,the fall-behind energy use pattern and the serious damage of ecology have become the serious problems of building ecological civilization and the obstacle of the realization of rural ecological civilization.The long-term extensive model of Chinese agriculture and the weak awareness among farmers are the deep-rooted reasons.Finally,the article put up several solutions of strengthening the construction of ecological civilization in rural areas from six aspects,such as the pollution prevention and control work should be strengthened,the efficient,intensive ecological agriculture should be developed and the construction of ecological laws should be improved.
