As a great textile country, more attention is paid to environmental problem produced by textile industry in China.High standard of air quality has been demanded with the development of economic and social.People has changed their attention from water treatment to air treatment due to large quantity, high temperature and adverse impact of calibrators's waste gas.In order to quantitative check the efficiency of lampblack purification instrument, the monitoring method should be improved. The absorption material made by metal has been widely used to adsorb lampblack produced by calibrators. However, error exits in the monitoring conclusion due to its limited adsorption capability. In order to monitor the concentration of lampblack exactly,a new approach was established to monitor the lampblack produced by calibrators in this paper.Calibrator' s waste gas produced by printing and dyeing mill from Zhejiang province which is typical. At first,FTIR-Raman and distillation under ordinary pressure have been employed to do the qualitative analysis on the main components of lampblack in the waste gas produced by two types of calibrators. The results of the experiment which was conducted under 0℃to 300℃have indicated that 78.81%of the components of lampblack is high-boiling alkanes whose boiling points are higher than 250℃.Moreover,some small amount of aldehydes and ketones is included in the components as well.Secondly, comparative study on the monitoring method of industry lampblack produced by calibrators of infrared photometric method, gravimetric method and ultraviolet spectrophotometry were engaged. Then an approach was built which was absorbed by Viscose Rayon-based Activated Carbon Fibre, and extracted with n-hexane,detected by an ultraviolet spectrophotometry. The extraction liquid of lampblack produced by dyeing and finishing industry had been used as the sample for analysis.Ultraviolet absorption value had been gauged at 230nm,and standard curves, whose correlation coefficient was 0.997,had been drawn. The results of experiment indicated that the extraction rates of N-hexane exceeded 90%,standard deviations were between 0.344 and 0.693,RSD values were lower than 5%,and the average rates of recovery were between 90%and 100%.The D.L of this method was 0.829μg/ml.Third,dynamic equilibrium adsorption capacity of Polypropylene and Viscose rayon-based activated carbon fiber(VACF) for lampblack produced by heatsetting machine was studied on a bench-scale installation. The result of experiment indicated that temperature:200±5℃,concentration of toluene:3mg/l,and flow velocity: 0.12m~3/h,the saturated adsorption of Polypropylene was 450mg/g.The result of experiment also indicated that Polypropylene owned excellent adsorption capabity but lower temperature-resist.The saturated adsorption of VACF whose temperature-resist was excellent can reach 500~1000mg/g.First-order kinetics models were applied to describe the adsorption. The Langmuir,Freundlich and DR absorption equations were used to simulate the isothems. The results showed that at low lampblack partial pressure, the Langmuir,Freundlich model fited the experimental data, while at high lampblack partial pressure, the DR model fited the experimental data. Finally,an approach was built which was absorbed by Viscose Rayon-based Activated Carbon Fibre, and extracted with n-hexane,detected by an ultraviolet speetrophotometry in the base of experiment of this paper.
