By analysising the quality and the characteristic of high concentration aureomycin antibiotics wastewater,a pilot-scale UASB-SBR process was used to treat it. The starting and the treatment effect of the process were studied.A series coagulation experiments was made for the pretreament of wastewater,and the factors which could affect the coagulation were studied.Hydrolytic acidification-UASB-SBR process was used to treat Tylosin mixed pharmaceutical wastewater.The debugging operation of the process in the engineering application was studied and the operational parameters of each section were determined.And the removal of pollutants in wastewater were analyzed and discussed.The results of the study showed that:Ⅰ.When using coagulation for pretreatment of high concentration wastewater,PAC and PAM were selected to the experiment.When the influent CODcr was 6700~6922mg/L,pH 5.5~5.9,the best reacting situation was tested,the pH was 5~5.5,the dosage of PAC was 160~180mg/L,the dosage of PAM was 1mg/L,the removal rate of COD could reach as high as 18.8%.Ⅱ.Using the pilot-scale UASB-SBR process to treat aureomycin antibiotics wastewater,when the influent CODCr was 3210~5077mg/L,the effluent CODCr of UASB was 910~2108mg/L,and the effluent CODCr of SBR was 289~301mg/L, CODCr average removal rate reached as much as 93.4%.When influent CODCr load reached 2.5kg/(m3·d),the average removal rate of CODCr was 65.5%.In the SBR reactor,the MLSS was 4.0±0.5g/L,DO was from 1.5 to 4.0 mg/L,the effluent CODcr could be reduced below 300mg/L,the average removal rate was 81.3%.The average system CODcr removal rate could reache to 94.5%.Ⅲ.Using hydrolytic acidification-UASB-SBR process to treat tylosin mixed pharmaceutical wastewater,the VFA could be increased from 18.6mmol/L to 28mmol/L after treating in the hydrolytic acidification pond.When the UASB reactor was stable operated,the CODCr load could reach 3.25 kgCOD/(m3·d),the average removal rate could be reached 81%stably.In the SBR reactor,the MLSS is controlled between 3700 and 4700 mg/L,volume ratio of air to water was 45:1,the working period was 8h,the quality of effluent could match the secondary criteria specified in the Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard(GB 8978-1996). The result show that:the UASB-SBR process has a high adaptability in treating high concentration pharmaceutical wastewater,and has a good removal effect on the pollutants in the wastewater,the effluent could meet the requirement of the industry standards.
