Eco-socialism is a social trend of thought and movement which has been arising in the main developed capitalist countries especially in Europe and the United States since the 1970s, and it's also an ideology which is a combination of Marxist, socialism, thoughts of green political and anti-globalization movement. Eco-socialists generally believe that the reasons for the expansion of the capitalist system is oppressive and authoritarian structure of the country under the supervision of colonialism brought about by globalization and the social injustice, poverty and environmental degradation; they advocate the abolition of non-violent capitalist system and the state, workers tend to the restoration of a free combination of collective ownership and commodity mode of production.This article prepare to further studies on eco-socialism from the perspective of ecological civilization. The basic opinions of this article are as followsThe ecological socialism's concept of political civilization was formed in the eco-socialist's criticism to capitalism. The premise of eco-socialist's notion of political civilization is their eco-political philosophy. The core connotation of eco-political civilization is eco-political economics. The theme of eco-socialist's concept of political civilization is the concept of ecosystem. The concept of eco-socialist's political civilization is characterized by the ecological concept of political democracy. Through the discourse of the concept of eco-socialism's civilization, it may provide a reference for the construction of political civilization in harmonious socialist society.
